Nine Months Later....

Wow!  It's been NINE MONTHS since I started my Beachbody Journey.  I have always equated "Nine Months" with weight gain thanks to four pregnancies.  I think this might be my favorite nine months though.  ;)



Overall I have lost 34 pounds and 21.75 inches in the last nine months!  Most of my pre-pregnancy clothes aren't even fitting anymore!

TF BBL Hybrid Day 2

Today I did my first HIIT workout in over three months.  HIIT 15.  Ow!  Ow!  Ow!  I followed up with Leandro's Secret Weapon.  I'm not sure if I pushed myself too hard but my left knee has been bothering me all day. 

Tomorrow is a scheduled Turbofire Rest day.  I'd rather NOT rest but if my knee is still bothering me, I will take it easy.  If it feels fine, I might sneak in Rio Extreme.

I'm so anxious to take my measurements and photos but I always do that every four weeks so I have to wait until Monday.  I was totally checking myself out today and I think my waist looks slimmer and my size 6 jeans are feeling looser even though I just washed them!

Moving Right Along

The last three weeks have been a mess.  I haven't been consistently working out and I think the problem is a lack of a WOWY schedule for the Maximum Results Brazil Butt Lift workouts.  I think I am one of those people that NEEDS a piece of paper or a person to tell me, "On this day, you do this..." and so on.

I decided to go ahead with my TurboFire & Brazil Butt Lift Hybrid.  There are posts about being able to "make your own hybrid" in WOWY but I can't seem to figure it out.  I went ahead and selected the TurboFire schedule.  I will supplement and/or substitute with Brazil Butt Lift as needed.  For example:  I really did not prefer the Tone 30, Sculpt 30 or Core 20 Turbofire Workouts.  I plan to substitute BBL as follows:

TF Tone 30 -> Bum Bum (35 min)
TF Sculpt 30 -> High & Tight (35 min)
TF Core 20 - > Tummy Tuck (15 min)

On days where Fire 30 is followed by Stretch 10 I plan on supplementing Secret Weapon and Abs Rapido.
On days where Fire 45 or Fire 45EZ are followed by Stretch 10 or nothing at all, I plan on supplementing Secret Weapon and/or Abs Rapido.

The only snag I've come across is where to fit Rio Extreme.  Maybe alternate Fire 55EZ every other week?

Today I was scheduled to do Fire 30.  I did it and had forgotten how intense it is!  I used 2lb ankle weights on each leg this time.  I plan on purchasing some hand/wrist weights too.  Afterwards, I did Abs Rapido.  I was going to do Leandro's Secret Weapon but ran out of time.

My other plan is to wake up around 5:30'ish so I can workout uninterrupted.  The only flaw in my plan is that I can NEVER sleep.  A lot of times I'm up until 2am and I get up at 6:30.  It's not 10pm and I am actually exhausted.  I'd like to go to bed around this time every night but it's usually after 10pm that I FINALLY get some peace and quiet to do things for myself.

Getting Back on Track

The Husband is currently home in between a month-long training assignment and a six month deployment.  He's been on leave since getting back on the 29th.  The last 5 days have been so busy with getting everything ready that my workouts have taken a backseat. :(  Tomorrow I will start back up and finish my third month of Brazil Butt Lift.  The next three months will consist of a TurboFire/Brazil Butt Lift hybrid and the following three months will HOPEFULLY be Les Mills Pump!  I've seen other people rave about it and they are getting awesome results.  I will be posting my workouts for the next three weeks tomorrow so I have a better way of keeping track.  I will also post my TF/BBL hybrid when I figure it out. I found one online but I'm not sure if it's the approach I want to take.

Brazil Butt Lift - End of Week 7

I decided to switch it up a bit.  I had Bum Bum/Tummy Tuck scheduled for today.  I did Bum Bum Rapido plus Abs Rapido and Secret Weapon (both for the first time) and ohmygoodness!  OW!  I had 2lb ankle weights on each leg for all three workouts. I used an 8lb weight for the Abs Rapido.  This had to be the longest 40 minutes of my life!  Totally love it!  Monday will begin Week 8 and I think I will begin including Leandro's Secret weapon on a regular basis for the this week and all of next month. 

Beginning in May, I am hoping to start a TurboFire/Brazil Butt Lift hybrid.  I've been searching online and I think I've found one.  I need to look at it a bit closer and I might tweak it a bit.  I'll definitely be kicking it up a notch for the hybrid.  I never used ankle or hand weights for Turbofire the first time I did it but I will this time.  I bought some 10lb ankle weights that are WAY TOO BIG for my skinny ankles so I need to return them and look for a pair better suited for my lady ankles.  ;)
