Here I go again - but not on my own.

For the first time in forever (said in a sing-song voice obviously!), I took my BEFORE photos.  I took my measurements.  I entered them in to my Beachbody goal tracker.  I took a look at my old Before and After photos that won me $500 almost two years ago.

Then I made a nifty collage to put up on Instagram!
THEN I PRESSED PLAY!!  Day 1 of Les Mills Combat was yesterday.  When I woke up this morning I thought my heartburn had spread to my back ribcage and then I remembered all the punches and jabs and uppercuts I did yesterday.

Today was HIIT 1.  I managed to get it done despite an early doctor's appointment, a quick grocery trip, plus homeschooling two kids under 7.

No excuses!  I had to guess-timate my weight because apparently we left our scale in Ohio but it's all good.  I remembered my tape measure and that's all that matters, right?  Now it's time to work off these inches!

Did You Miss Me?

Pardon the mess while I dust off my blog.  I need some accountability!

Les Mills Pump vs. Les Mills Pump Deluxe

As I come to the end of my fourth month of Les Mills Pump, I realized something:

I should have ordered the Deluxe Kit.

The cardio workouts are AMAZING!  I ended up buying a Reebok step to use for the step workout.  It's perfect but then I tried to use it to do the chest exercises in the weightlifting workouts.  It's way too short and I spend more time readjusting my position because my neck hurts and it sucks because when I use the bench for the chest exercises, it just feels so much more effective.

So if you are on the fence about whether to order the basic Les Mills Pump package or the Deluxe, trust me:  You're going to want the Deluxe!

Les Mills Pump Ultimate Cross Training - Brazil Butt Lift Hybrid (60 days)

Okay here it is.  Is it perfect?  Probably not.  I might even change things around as I get in to the program(s) more.  I might move High & Tight/Bum Bum to weight-training days.  Who knows?  All I know is I love High & Tight and Bum Bum and wanted to incorporate them in with the full body Les Mills Pump plan.  I might add some jogging in to the mix too.  :)  I'll also be trying to eat a lot cleaner foods.  Let me know what you think or if you want more information on any of the Beachbody programs.  Oh and there is a chance that my husband's cousin might be able to retrieve the original schedule I made so if that happens, I'll post it here too if it varies drastically.

 Decide. Commit. Succeed!

So What's Next?

I’m currently on Week 12 of Les Mills Pump.  I have actually slacked off on planning my next workout cycle. I have usually decided on what I’m doing next a month before I finish my current program.  My husband will be returning from his six month deployment in less than two months.  So my plan is to do an intense 60 day schedule to really firm up before he gets back.

I contemplated Insanity buuuuuut I don’t think I’m quite ready for that yet.  So I spent the better majority of last night planning out a Les Mills Pump Ultimate Crosstraining/ Brazil Butt Lift hybrid.  Before I do that, I’ll be doing the 3 Day Shakeology cleanse.  All four kids will in school this year - the younger two for just 2.5 hours a day/4 days a week.  I think I’ll do a little running too.

Balls to the wall baby!
